As the holiday’s approach we are filled with a sense of urgency. Urgency to plan, attend, craft, decorate; the list is never ending. As Lisa Dean likes to state we begin to function in “fragments of time.” This is your friendly reminder to slow down, enjoy the pumpkin spice or apple cider. Breathe in the change of seasons and embrace what that change of “seasons” looks like in your life.
Fall is the most beautiful reminder to reflect on change growth and the natural progression of life. Things change and progress, so we can grow. Shed the things that don’t make sense in our life and move towards the goals that make us feel happier and content. Part of this process involves embracing change, which includes recognizing the continued changes in our world and society. Although, we may never get back to a sense of “normal,” in the ways we reflect before the pandemic. We can choose to learn a new and different normal for us personally and professionally.
Again, I implore you to take a step back and reflect and embrace the growth and changes in your life over the past year, maybe two. Dig deep into personal content and look to find the balance in life verses getting lost within the “fragments.” Give yourself permission to slow down, be mindful, and enjoy the journey that is life.
